Nonstationary processes are being investigated in late-type stars, which are related to chromospheric activity, photospheric spots and long-term cyclic activity variations (stellar cycles). The processes in circumstellar matter are studied in close binary systems. A database is developed for wide-field astronomical photographic observations.
